Folk Ensemble „SNUTKI” Potarzyca POLAND

  The group „Snutki” was established in 1984. “Snutki” present in their program regional dances of Wielkopolska, Kashubia, Lublin, Rzeszów, Silesia, Kraków, Łowicz, Opoczno, Żywiec as well as national dances: polonaise, cracovienne, mazurka, kouiaviak with oberek. Moreover, the group also performs various folklore customs. The performances are youth and children since 5 years of age as well as adults. “Snutki” are divided into 3 age groups, where dancing lessons are led by Mikołaj Szymański and Maciej Handzelek. The music lessons, however, are led by Marta Kupczyk. The group have 2 folk music bands of adults and children. Moreover, there is also a bagpipes band. Aleksandra Mendelska is the founder of the group, art and choreography director, whereas the managing director is Jarosław Mendelski.
