Artistic Programme

At first the artistic programme of the ensemble covered songs and dances from the region of Wielkopolska (which is part of Poland in the west of the country) and they were mainly pieces from the area surrounding Jarocin. In the course of time the programme presented by “Snutki” has become much more extensive and now it also includes not only songs and dances from the Region of Wielkopolska but from the following regions: Rzeszów, Lublin, Kraków, Śląsk, Opoczno, Łowicz, Żywiec and Kaszuby as well. and In the programme there is also a great variety of national dances like polonaise, cracovienne, mazurka and kouiaviak with oberek. The ensemble “Snutki” also performs some scenes that show various folk customs.
