The International Folk Meetings have their own place in the calender of cultural events in the area of Jarocin. The festival is a celebration of folklore that takes place every year. In the First two years we could participate in it at the beginning of May, presently at the turn of June and July.
Organizers of THE INTERNATIONAL FOLK MEETINGS aim at: - popularization of folklore, especially dances
- presentation of artistic achievements of the ensembles participating in the meetings
- facilitation of making friends among children and teenagers from different countries
- intercultural cooperation of children and teenagers in terms of United Europe
- exchanging ideas and experiences in terms of work with young people from folk ensembles
- development of artistic sensibility of children and teenagers through direct contact with dance, song and music.
